About Kelly

It started with my own knee.

I'm Kelly Benitone, a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Before I was the one handing out programs, I was the one who needed one.

My story

At 17, a knee injury ended my competitive swimming career. My knee stopped feeling like mine. It was unstable and painful, and I spent years moving carefully around it, trying not to make it worse.

Physical therapy got me moving again. Weight training got me my life back. Getting stronger changed how my knee felt and how I felt about it, and I wanted to help other people find that same turning point.

That's what led me to a Bachelor's in Exercise & Wellness at Arizona State, an athletic training internship with the Chicago White Sox, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. I've spent the last decade helping people in pain get back to the things they love.

Why Benitone Rehab

Most people never get a plan.

They get a handout of stretches or a random video, and they quit. So I built the program I'd hand a patient who's ready to do the work on their own: clear, follow-along, and honest about what stretching can and can't do.
